সবার আগে আমরা একটা নরমাল থাইরয়েড গ্ল্যান্ড আল্ট্রাসোনোগ্রাফিতে কেমন দেখা যায় সেটা একটু দেখি।
2. the capsule may appear as a thin hyperechoic line.
3. each lobe normally measures
length: 4-7 cm.
depth: <2 cm.
isthmus <0.5 cm deep.
volume (excluding isthmus, unless its thickness is >3 mm) 10-15 mL for females. 12-18 mL for males.
থাইরয়েড আল্ট্রাসাউন্ডে ম্যালিগন্যান্সি সাসপেক্ট করবো কিভাবে?
-Hypoechogenicity
-Microcalcifications
-Irregular borders/ poorly defined margin
-Increased intranodular vascularity
-Taler than wide configuration on transverse view.
তবে ক্যালসিফিকেশন নিয়ে কিছু কথা আছে।
বিনাইন থাইরয়েড নোডিউলে আমরা peripheral eggshell calcification পাই-
আবার papillary carcinoma তে আমরা micro calcification পাই-
অন্যদিকে medullary carcinoma তে আমরা globular calcification পাই-
