Retinal Detachment

Retinal detachment is a cause of sudden painless loss of vision.

Retinal detachment is a disorder in the eye in which the retina peels away from its underlying layer of supporting tissue.

It is characterised by a dense shadow starting peripherally and progressing centrally.

There is also flashes of light, increased floaters and a dense shadow.
